JDRF North Carolina Statewide Retreat: January 18-19, 2014

History of the Family Retreat: In January 2009, more than 100 families attended the Piedmont Triad Chapter’s Family Retreat, arriving on a Friday night and staying through lunch on Saturday.

In January 2010, more than 200 families attended the North Carolina Statewide Family Retreat at the Grandover Resort and Spa in Greensboro. Again, the event began on Friday evening and ended Saturday afternoon.

In 2011, the Piedmont Triad Chapter hosted a one-day workshop specifically for families in our region.

In 2012, JDRF hosted the North Carolina Statewide Family Retreat,with over 200 families in attendance. It was a wonderful, informative weekend.

The 2013 Family Retreat was a great success. Over 50 families from the area gathered at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro for a fun and educational one-day workshop.

In 2014, JDRF will once again host a North Carolina Statewide Retreat for families all across the state. The date of the 2014 Family Retreat has been set for January 18-19, 2013.
