Become an Advocate for JDRF

Spread the word about type 1 throughout the Piedmont Triad, across the country, and with our Members of Congress and other lawmakers!

Did you know that for every dollar that JDRF donates for research to find a cure this year, the federal government will provide almost $5? That’s why it’s so important to build strong relationships with our Members of Congress. State and local representatives also impact how healthcare dollars are channeled.

Specifically, you can:

• Take part in JDRF’s advocacy programs:
  • Activist Champions Team (ACT)
  • Kids Advocacy Network (KAN)

• Participate in JDRF’s key campaigns:
  • The Promise Campaign

• Learn about some of the issues JDRF advocates are working on in Congress and with their state legislators:
